The calendar says it is April, but the Interior Alaska weather is recalcitrant. We woke up to single digits on the thermometer and fresh snow in the yard.
A night out at Silver Gulch with friends, and a toast to Charlie, who is soon to deploy to Afghanistan.
Godspeed Charlie, you and your soldiers will be in our thoughts and prayers. Don't worry about Jen and the kids. They have a strong support system here, as always.
