Trying on my new Arctic Steger Mukluks for size.
Over the years I’ve noticed that many long time Alaskans use this amazing moosehide footwear to keep their tootsies toasty during the harsh Interior winters. When I saw several of the mushers wearing them on the Yukon Quest trail last February when temps were a steady 40 to 50 below, I decided to ask Santa to bring me some this year. Matt ordered me a pair and I was thrilled to find them under the tree!
