Alaska’s “premier duct tape event,” the Red Green River Regatta, is a “flotilla of fun” and pure silliness that challenges entrants to be as creative as possible with duct tape in the construction of their vessels.
Spectators standing on the banks of the Chena River are likely to get wet. I was sodden on the way back to the car myself.
Commemorating 15 years of ingenuity, it is one of the final events in the week long Golden Days Celebration, and a truly Alaskan spectacle.
